As I see around, many of you have to deal with the time-consuming banking system every day for work and business. I found a solution by choosing Netspend, an online money management system that is not less than a bank to me. It allows me to transfer and receive money, make online payments anywhere, anytime. Its Debit and Credit Card, and all the money management through a user-friendly smartphone App made me choose it with reliability. I also have to deal with Cash App to transfer money frequently which many of my business partners also use. Cash App also works like Netspend providing online banking like transfer and receiving money, online payments, Cash withdrawal from the ATMs, and dealing with bank accounts. Both the Netspend and Cash App debit cards are accessible without any bank history and Visa ATMs are open for users to withdraw.

Since people prioritize a time-saving banking system, they prefer online money transfer so that they don’t need to carry cash outside. I usually transfer money from Netspend to Cash App just by staying in my room. It allows me to deposit money from the bank account and send or receive it through my smartphone. The app is so versatile that I can manage any money management issues just by tapping on the interface. Whatever, I am writing details here because of the curiosity of the people who want to transfer money from Netspend to Cash App.

How to link Netspend to Cash App?

The process of linking Netspend is not that complex, rather it’s a simple process.  Netspend Prepaid Card cannot be linked directly to Cash App. However, you will have to link it through any of their bank accounts. As soon as you link your bank account, you will only be able to use the Cash App to add funds to your card, not to receive funds from Netspend. The Netspend doesn’t accept direct transfers to bank accounts or Cash App. Follow these three steps to link your NetSpend card account to the Cash App. Including:

  • First, open the Cash App from your smartphone then tap on the icon at the bottom left of the interface.
  • Now an interface will pop up with a tab labeled “Add bank”. Here is the option where you have to add a Netspend card as a bank account instead of a Netspend card.
  • Enter the required information of your Netspend account as well as the routing number. You will get the routing number and the account number from your Netspend card. Don’t give it a chance to make mistakes.

To me, it’s simple as its part of my business to transfer money from a Cash App to a Bank account. It’s just a matter of tapping time into your smartphone. Although Netspend has a barrier in this regard, Cash App allows both sending and receiving money from a bank account. First thing you have to make sure that, you have the balance in your Cash App that you want to transfer or deposit to your bank account. Then you can proceed to transfer the balance. Since Cash App is a smartphone-based application, you can do it anytime anywhere just following the instructions. But you have to add or link the bank account to your Cash App account just as below.

  • Open the Cash App from your Smartphone and tap on the Home icon from the bottom left of the home interface.
  • That tap should open up with the Banking tab.
  • Here you will have to link the bank account you want to transfer money to if it is still unlinked to your Cash App. Need the account number and routing number to be added here to link your bank account. Once your bank account is linked, you can transfer money anytime based on the availability of the fund.
  • If the bank account is linked then you have to follow the prompts to complete the transfer process.

You can also modify or change your bank account from your Cash App.

  • After tapping on the Banking tab there will be the “Linked Banks” or “Linked Accounts “. Tap on it.
  • Then tap on the account you want to modify.
  • Select the Remove or Replace bank whichever you want.
  • Follow the further instructions to add your new bank account.

Now, if the bank account is successfully linked to your bank account, you are just one step ahead of the money transfer from your Cash App to your Bank account.

  • Tap on the “Balance” from the Cash App home screen.
  • There you will see Add Cash and “Cash Out”. Select the “Cash Out” option.
  • Enter the amount based on the available balance in your Cash App account. Remember that, you can transfer all the funds available in your Cash App account and turn it into zero if you want. There is no requirement to keep a portion of the funds in your Cash App account.
  • Now you have to select the Deposit speed which refers to how fast you want the fund to be transferred to your desired bank account. Typically, the standard mood takes the cash to transfer within 2 to 3 business days while the Instant mood makes the transfer faster but it charges some fees for the instant process.
  • The Cash App may require your touch ID or PIN to confirm the transaction process.

Sometimes I choose the Instant Transfer option to send the money urgently which takes around 30 minutes to finish the process. Although the Standard Transfer is free remember that the Cash App charges 1.5% of the transferred amount. I choose the transfer mood as per the demand of the situation.
